FAQs

How does it work?

We ask you a short series of questions to get an understanding of which provider will best meet your needs.

How much does it cost?

We offer sliding scale services. This means what you pay per session is based on .001% of your individual (individual therapy) or household income (couple and family therapy).

What if I cannot afford to pay?

As a nonprofit organization we are constantly researching and applying for grants and accept donations to cover the cost of mental health care for those who are unable to afford it. Please complete the questionnaire that aligns with the type of therapy you are in search of and you will be added to our waitlist. You will be notified via email once we have funding to cover your services.

How do I cancel services?

Please reach out to us at billing@inkindmind.org to cancel your therapy services prior to your next months billing cycle.

Can my provider write an ESA letter?

Our providers do not write ESA letters for clients. If you are in need of an ESA letter we recommend talking with your primary care doctor.

Can my doctor write notes or reports for court?

Our providers do not write legal notes or reports for court. If you need a note or legal report for court we recommend talking with your attorney.

How much of each donation goes to services?

100% of every donation we receive goes towards the cost of delivering mental health services to clients who are unable to afford the cost.
